Nathan Gump, PhD
Nathan Gump, PhD is a licensed Psychologist. He earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology at Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. He completed his pre-doctoral training at Towson University in Maryland and his post-doctoral internship at Texas A&M. He has experience in university counseling center and medical clinic settings.
Nathan works with a wide variety of therapeutic issues such as:
- Panic attacks
- Fears that interfere with social, career, or academic success
- Low self-esteem
- Seasonal depression
Behavioral and relational issues
- Difficulties with decision-making
- Poor time-management
- Poor sleep / Insomnia
Nathan is a compassionate therapist/teacher who incorporates mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies to tailor therapy to each client’s needs. He will help you understand how to be more present-focused, how to set yourself up for success, and how to challenge negative thoughts and beliefs that hold you back from living a genuine life.
He works one-on-one with adults (ages 18 and older).
